Henry County Court Docket Searches
Start with Henry County Court Services, the county's own portal. There you'll see links labeled “Access Judicial Records Online” and “Case Management Docket Search.” Behind them sit three separate Micropact application roots. One each serves Superior, State, and Magistrate cases in Henry County. The interfaces can be finicky, so treat them as unverified and don't guess at fields. Your best search key is a case number. Keep its letters, year, and digits exactly as written.
- Identify Superior, State, Magistrate, Probate, Juvenile, municipal, or federal jurisdiction from the notice and case number.
- Open the court-specific county search root or official judge-calendar page.
- Search by the complete case number when that route is available.
- Read the next setting separately from case status and the document list.
- If the result is blank or blocked, call the correct clerk and request the specific regular or certified record.
Need a live answer? Phone the court directly. State Court takes questions at 770-288-7800, Magistrate at 770-288-7700, Superior and Clerk records at 770-288-8022, and Juvenile at 770-288-6866. Probate numbers conflict across two official listings, so confirm through the Probate Court site.
Three Portals, Three Henry Courts
Henry County does not run one countywide database. Instead, SuperiorCourtsCMWS, StateCourtsCMWS, and MagistrateCourtsCMWS are three distinct official roots. Each supports case-number searching. Access barriers and 403 responses can still block a full look at the fields. A page that fails to load is not evidence that no case exists. And it never justifies treating a people-search site as the real court record. For a broader entry point, turn to the official Locating Records hub. It pairs case status with civil forms, e-filing, divorce, name-change, legitimation, and record-location services.
Court Dockets: What They Show
Think of a docket or calendar entry as an index and scheduling trail. It is not automatically the complete file. Henry County's State Court samples show criminal and traffic columns for case number, hearing type, attorney, court time, statute, and description. State civil material looks different. It lists case number, cause of action, parties, attorneys, and comments. Magistrate dispossessory rows add a division code and a DateTime field.
| Case number | Connects search, calendar, filing, and copy request; observed prefixes include STSR, STSV, STTR, MGCD, MGWF, and MGWM. |
|---|---|
| Setting | May identify a jury calendar call, probation review, preliminary hearing, traffic calendar, or pretrial conference. |
| Comments | Reset or removed describes calendar activity; neither establishes the outcome. |
| Case file | Indictments, accusations, sentences, dispositions, pleadings, and orders may require a clerk request. |
| Certification | A certified copy comes from the custodian, not a screenshot or search result. |
Case Prefixes Point to a Starting Court
Henry County's calendar samples offer routing clues, not an official glossary. STSR suggests State criminal material. STSV points to State civil, and STTR to State traffic. On the Magistrate side, MGCD marks a dispossessory matter. MGWF and MGWM appear in preliminary criminal material. Prefixes help you pick a portal, but the official sources publish no complete codebook.
Blank result? Recheck the court, year, and exact format. Then ask whether the case is archived, recently entered, transferred, sealed, restricted, municipal, or federal.
What Each Access Channel Can Answer
Each access channel answers a different question. The online case-management root works best with a known number and current status. Judge calendars are narrower. They confirm a matter appeared on a setting list, but may omit earlier activity and document images. Need a named filing, an older file, or a certified copy? Use the Clerk of Superior Court counter and records form. Phone first before traveling. Call after a portal error, or when the court on a notice is unclear.
Henry's records-request form documents mail, fax, email, and pickup options. Those choices apply to the clerk request, not to every court office automatically. Give the case number, name, record type, and regular-or-certified choice. Then wait for confirmation of availability and payment. County open-records channels can't replace the judicial custodian just because both use the word “record.”
Henry County Courts and Their Dockets
Henry County's courts overview is the map to consult before any search. Georgia has six trial-level classes, and the county portal covers none of the municipal, appellate, or federal systems.
| Court | Typical Henry matters | First official route |
|---|---|---|
| Superior Court, Flint Judicial Circuit | Felonies, general civil actions, divorce, and lower-court appeals | Superior search and Clerk of Superior Court |
| State Court | Misdemeanors, county traffic, and State civil matters | State search and judge calendars |
| Magistrate Court | Claims up to $15,000, dispossessory, warrants, preliminary hearings | Magistrate search and calendars |
| Probate or Juvenile | Estates and guardianships; juvenile jurisdiction | Separate court office, with special limits |
| Municipal Court | City traffic and ordinance cases | Issuing city's court route |
| Federal court | Northern District and bankruptcy matters | PACER, CM/ECF, or federal clerk |
Judge Calendars Fill the Search Gap
When Micropact won't render, Henry County's judge-by-judge calendars still answer the question “what is set?” State Court publishes PDFs organized by judge and date. Magistrate Court offers a dynamic interface plus archives. A calendar row can match a known number to a time. It also shows hearing type, attorney field, statute or cause, and comment. The official State Court calendar page shows that route.
The Magistrate calendar interface provides the lower-court counterpart.
Court Dates and Settings in Henry County
Read headings first: court and judge, then calendar date, court time, hearing type, and full case number. One case may appear at several settings. “Calendar call: jury trial” groups trial-bound cases but is not necessarily trial itself. “Probation review” and “pretrial conference” are purpose-specific settings. A reset simply means rescheduling. Removed only means the matter left that listed calendar.
Weather can reshape a court date fast. Henry's March 16, 2026 weather order delayed opening until noon. It covered Superior, State, Magistrate, Probate, and Juvenile Courts. Pre-noon in-person matters were continued unless a judge directed otherwise. Virtual proceedings remained possible. Covered deadlines were tolled. That order shows why the Henry County court schedule and any emergency orders deserve a same-day check.
A Calendar Is Not the Whole File
A calendar row may hand you a setting, a status clue, and a case number. It omits earlier filings, signed orders, exhibits, and disposition. Henry County's clerk form fills that gap. It offers separate indictment, accusation, sentence/disposition, and “other” checkboxes. Need proof of an outcome? Request the underlying record rather than inferring one from a missing future setting.
- Docket entry
- One filing, order, setting, status, or administrative event.
- Reset
- A new setting or rescheduled date, not a dismissal.
- Removed
- A matter no longer on that calendar; the reason needs confirmation.
- Certified copy
- A copy authenticated and issued by the clerk.
Specialty Calendars Stay With the Underlying Case
Henry County runs Adult Felony Drug Court, Resource Court, Veterans Treatment Court, and DUI/Drug Court programs. No separate public database exists for those program dockets. A participant's public activity, when available, sits in the Superior or State case that supplies jurisdiction. The relevant program or clerk contact comes next. Program details can stay confidential even when part of the underlying criminal docket is public.
That distinction matters. A specialty-program page is never a complete calendar. A treatment setting may not appear under the words a searcher expects. Use the original case number. Identify the underlying court. Then ask that court about the next permitted access step.
Henry Records Do Not All Share One Custodian
In Henry County, "the clerk" is not one office. The Clerk of Superior Court keeps the Superior material assigned to it. The rest splits into separate civil, criminal, archives, and court-services routes. State, Magistrate, Probate, Juvenile, and municipal matters each sit with their own offices. Each office has its own procedures. Police reports, prosecution files, and sheriff records may never touch a judicial case file. The same goes for ordinary county-department paperwork.
Match the item to the office before you mail anything. A sentence in a Superior or State criminal file belongs on the county clerk request route. A McDonough municipal recording request is a different animal. It records a city proceeding rather than producing a county certified copy. Federal filings go to PACER or the Northern District clerk, never to One Courthouse Square.
That ownership check pays off when a portal comes back empty. It also guards restricted material. A missing juvenile or sealed entry is a cue to call the authorized office. Do not hunt for a workaround.
Federal Dockets Use the Atlanta Division
Federal cases tied to Henry County live outside the county Micropact roots. Henry falls in the Atlanta Division of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. PACER and the district's CM/ECF system handle federal docket access. The federal clerk manages courthouse access and official copies. Federal case-number formats, account rules, and fees do not carry over to Henry Superior, State, or Magistrate Court. A county calendar PDF cannot confirm a federal hearing, filing deadline, judgment, or appeal. Check those events through the federal docket and the federal clerk. Use the originating case.
Bankruptcy is its own world. It belongs to the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Its official case-information page lists PACER. It also lists a telephone information service, public terminals, print and copy routes, and certification. CourtListener or RECAP can serve as a free secondary lead for some federal filings. Neither replaces the originating federal court's current docket.
So a Henry County docket search that returns nothing needs a jurisdiction check. Run that before a spelling change. Scan the notice for a United States court name, a federal case format, or a bankruptcy chapter. Then move to the matching federal system. Keep the complete number handy when you call the clerk.
Docket Access Under Georgia Law
Georgia's court rules and Open Records Act concepts open the door, but judicial records are not the same as ordinary agency records. The clerk or court custodian controls inspection, redaction, sealing, and copies. Juvenile, adoption, medical, protected-identifier, expunged, and sealed material cannot be promised through a public search.
Key rules:
Uniform Superior Court Rule 21 addresses public access, sealing, and redaction.
Uniform Magistrate Court Rule 20 governs sensitive information.
Georgia Open Records Act guidance explains agency requests, while court records remain routed through their custodian.
Georgia E-Access Is a Provider Directory
The Georgia Judicial Gateway E-Access page names providers for Henry State and Superior records, yet it is no unified, free statewide docket database. An account may be required, services differ, and a listing guarantees neither images nor certification. The local system or clerk stays authoritative. The official E-Access directory displays that model.
E-Filing Does Not Mean Public Viewing
Electronic filing sends documents to the court. It does not build a universal public browser. Georgia's matrix lists PeachCourt as mandatory. That mandate covers Henry State Court. For Henry Superior Court, Odyssey eFileGA and PeachCourt are mandatory, with GreenFiling and InfoTrack available. Filing rules, docket status, and public copies are separate questions. The Georgia e-file matrix shows the Henry entries.
Henry's filing information adds required-document, proposed-order, rejection, service, exhibit, and post-judgment guidance.
How the Clerk Keeps Docket Records
Sabriya Hill is the Clerk of Superior Court. Her office is the authoritative records route for files it holds. The request form asks for case number and name, record type, and regular or certified copy. It also covers requester details and delivery by pickup, U.S. mail, fax, or email. Copies run $1 per page, plus $2 for certification. Payment must clear before release, by cashier's check, money order, or business check. The Clerk page organizes civil, criminal, archives, court services, and e-certification.

Archives, Forms, and Certification Use Separate Doors
Court Services labels Archives, Mail, E-Certification, online judicial records, and case-management search as separate doors. The Court Services page makes those paths visible.
The Forms and Documents index separates civil, criminal, restriction, and e-filing material.
The E-Certification page supplies another distinct service.
City-by-City Court Dockets in Henry County
Henry has four incorporated cities. Each municipal court handles city traffic, ordinance, and other municipal violations through channels of its own. A city citation does not land in State Court automatically, though a higher-level matter arising inside city limits may belong in a county court.

Map and Directions to the Henry County Courthouse
Superior and State Court files are kept at One Courthouse Square in McDonough, the county seat, where the Clerk of Superior Court's office sits on the 1st Floor. Judge chambers use separate courtroom letters and phone lines within the same building — Judge Pandora Palmer in Courtroom C, Judge Danielle Roberts in Courtroom B, and Judge Chaundra Lewis in Courtroom D — though those numbers reach chambers, not the Clerk's records counter.

The county has not published a courthouse-counter schedule or confirmed whether a public case-search terminal exists at the Clerk's office, so calling ahead is the safest plan. A March 2026 emergency order shows operations can shift on short notice: it delayed opening until noon and allowed remote proceedings across Superior, State, Magistrate, Probate, and Juvenile Courts.
